BUSINESSES FROM THE GULF COUNTRIES ARE FAMILIAR WITH GEORGIA

A presentation about tourism in Dedoplistskaro

On November 13-14, the Dedoplistskaro Tourism Development Association participated in the International Tourism and Business Forum 2023 organized by the “Provision” company at the Sheraton Grand Tbilisi Metechi Palace Hotel. Within the framework of the project, a group of investors from the Gulf countries visited Tbilisi: the Kingdom of Bahrain, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, who got acquainted with the business environment in Georgia, favorable investment opportunities and tourism potential in the country. Business representatives noted in their speeches that these countries are interested in Georgia’s real estate, investments, and tourism issues.

Representatives of the Georgian side from state and private structures: Georgian National Tourism Administration, program – “Enterprise Georgia “, Resort Development Agency, Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Regional Administration, Samegrelo DMO, Poti City Hall, Georgian Tourism Association, Georgian Medical Tourism Association, Dedoplistskaro Tourism Development Association, Georgian  National Association of Real Estate, Tbilisi Balneological, Tskaltubo and Sairme Spa Resorts, Caucasus University, and other organizations have introduced the resources and opportunities of Georgia.

The director of the Dedoplistskaro Tourism Development Association, Manana Katashvili, provided the participants with information about services, resources, and opportunities of Dedoplistskaro – a tourist destination in the biosphere reserve.

B2B meetings were an important part of the forum, where we got to know future business partners. Cooperation plans were also made.
