THE PROCEDURE FOR AWARDING THE “GOOD HOST” QUALITY LABEL AND CERTIFICATE APPROVED

Another annual general meeting of the Dedoplistskaro Tourism Development Association was held. The association members heard and approved the report of Manana Katashvili, the chairman of the Association, about the work done in 2022.

The procedure for awarding the “Good Host” quality label and certificate to the tourist products of the Association members was discussed, members of the working group were elected, and the presented project was approved. This rule has already been implemented since January 20, 2023.

The goal of the tourism product quality program is to promote the development of tourism businesses in Dedoplistskaro municipality, help them improve the quality of services, support quality service/product offerings for visitors, encourage the creation of new businesses/services, increase the number of visitors, service providers to local and foreign (including European) customers, a Better understanding of expectations, meeting their needs and creating relevant services, using information acceptable to European visitors in the marketing, as well as – permanent care for quality improvement and constant monitoring of the process.

Now, from the website of the association www.dtda.ge, it is already possible for tourist businesses to go through the self-assessment procedure and, in case of meeting the established norm of the criteria, apply to the association to receive the “Good Host” quality label and certificate. Active members of the association will invite to Estonia in August.

At the meeting, the members also outlined the events plan for 2023 and went through the activities to be held in detail.
